Food and family have always been combined for me, which is why my demonstrations, workshops and events are all aimed to feel just like a friendly banquet around the family table.
When I take the stand, my kitchen bench laden with fresh produce and spices and ingredients sourced from all parts of the globe, it’s like a doorway has been opened to the world.
It’s not just that the ingredients might come from South-East Asia, or Europe, or the Middle East – it’s because my years of International travel converge in this one moment.
My stories of food and people and events on the world stage are not taken from books. They are taken from my own life and experiences in Italy, Britain, Switzerland, the USA, Vietnam, Cambodia and Singapore. My stories as much as my dishes are rich with the cultures and history and people that I have been lucky enough to have lived amongst, whose experiences I have shared and whose passion for life I have enjoyed as if those cultures were my own.
