Kids Can Cook

There is nothing better than getting children into the kitchen.  They have no qualms about getting their hands dirty and their sole focus should be on the process.  As a former educator, I ensure my classes are fun and vibrant.  Children are encouraged to explore and to appreciate their own creativity.  Whilst there are boundaries when it comes to safety, other boundaries do not exist.

This is not about creating a perfect Chef’s dish – this is about honouring each child’s creative individuality. I want to inspire children to feel independent and capable.  I love to see children try new and different types of food.  I love to watch as children open up and smile as they realise they are successful.  The maths and science, the reading and processing are all important skills which are developed as children progress with their cooking – but the best part is that the children do not know they are learning!!
