Variety is the key

Try to cook with an open mind. Read recipes for ideas but don’t be afraid to experiment and replace ingredients with favourites on hand. If cooking weekly dinners has become tiresome then it is probably because you are in a rut with your repertoire of ideas. Time to sit down with a coffee or a glass of wine and food magazines and jot down some of the recipes that appeal. Try to do at least one new dish a week. This will help you to develop a larger selection of dishes you have mastered as well as relieving a little of the mundane!
